Lao Airlines State Enterprise has announced a series of leadership changes as part of efforts to strengthen its management structure and support long-term growth.

On 12 December, Mr. Saleum Tayarath was promoted from Deputy Managing Director to Acting Managing Director of Lao Airlines.

In a separate ceremony held on 30 January, Mr. Fongsisouphan Phommavong was appointed Deputy Director General of Lao Airlines. The event was presided over by Vice Minister of Public Works and Transport Detsongkham Thammavong.

Officials said the restructuring aims to improve management mechanisms, promote staff succession, and enhance leadership capacity, positioning the national carrier for more sustainable and efficient development.
